Accommodations for test-takers with disabilities or health-related needs

Testing accommodations are available for test takers who meet the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) disability requirements.

Alert

If you have a health-related need that requires you to bring equipment, beverages, or snacks into the testing room (or if you need to take extra or extended breaks), follow the accommodations request procedures in the Bulletin Supplement.

Due to limited staffing in our offices, please submit all Disability Accommodation requests and supporting documents electronically via your Praxis account to ensure that we can receive your requests. During this time, there may be additional delays in processing accommodation requests.

How to register after your accommodations have been approved

If you’ve been approved for the following accommodations, you can register for and schedule your test online through your Praxis account. You don’t need to complete and submit the Test Authorization Voucher Request Form.
